We aim to operate a business that has a minimal negative impact on this environment. With this in mind we have taken the following steps to reduce or eliminate these negative impacts.During the restoration of the house very little was wasted. Anything that could be recycled and re-used was. Building rubble was re used in the garden to form the base for the shed and hard standing area and even 42 tons of soil and rocks from the cellar was re used to landscape the garden.

I guess as one human being we can keep our house pollution free but in order to keep the environment pollution free then everyone as a group must work on it. In simple things we can make the process to get into progress. But the only thing is that no one is giving much important to that...

People are exposed to these chemicals not only during manufacturing, but also by using plastic packages, because some chemicals migrate from the plastic packaging to the foods they contain. Examples of plastics contaminating food have been reported with most plastic types, including Styrene from polystyrene, plasticizers from PVC, antioxidants from polyethylene, and Acetaldehyde from PET.

Among the factors controlling migration are the chemical structure of the migrants and the nature of the packaged food. In studies cited in Food Additives and Contaminants, LDPE, HDPE, and polypropylene bottles released measurable levels of BHT, Chimassorb 81, Irganox PS 800, Irganix 1076, and Irganox 1010 into their contents of vegetable oil and ethanol. Evidence was also found that acetaldehyde migrated out of PET and into water.

With everything seemingly needing to revert back to an ethical topic, I wondered how much do we really care about our environment? Certain councils in the UK are now fining residents for not putting the right materials in the right container, forgetting that a few years ago, motivating anyone to put recyclable materials into something that wasn’t a black bin liner was a challenge.

If we asked random Publicees where their nearest recycling bin was, would they find it, or would they point to the grey shredder bins meant only for confidential materials?

So I wonder…..

What effort will we go to in order to save our planet (considering most of us assume we won’t encounter the full horror of global warming in our generation)?
More interestingly, who in Baker Street could raise their hands up and claim to be a Guardian of Green?

Another way that I try to minimize my negative impact is by considering the living things on the planet. I try not to needlessly harm. If a bug is going to sting me, aka a mosquito, I'll kill it cause it's either him or me (and one of my needs is not getting bitten by bugs.) Everyone does have to eat, so I will kill plants for food. But I strive for efficiency and eschew any kind of wasting. I won't cook or order more food than I need, and I feel guilty if anything goes bad or to waste. I believe in personal freedom, and I believe that the choices I make are disciplined, individual, everyday choices that lower my negative impact on the environment of the world.
